| Positioning/Management
WLook for excellent yields of high test weight
grain and season long plant health. Excellent silage
yields and quality in early to medium maturity areas.
A hybrid with unique upright leaf characteristics and
exceptional late season plant intactness. K118 can exhibit
some tassel wrapping (buggy whipping) at flowering which
the plant grows out of causing no harm to yield performance.
Although physiological maturity is timely the flint-dent
genetics in the background of this hybrid result in
an extended drydown period. Adapts well to all soil
types - including heavy clay.
On lighter soils, keep populations to lower end of recommendation.
