Positioning/Management

K157 emerges early and maintains plant health throughout the season. This hybrid, with its upright leaf characteristic, adapts well to narrow row applications. K157 tolerates population variances with its semi-flex ear. This hybrid can express tassel wrap at flowering but rapidly grows out of this with no detriment to yield. K157 is an excellent early companion hybrid for K177 and K196. Adapts to all soil types – including heavy clay. On lighter soils, keep population to lower end of recommendation.
